Keith Lee is a bilingual theatre, TV & film actor based in Singapore and a storyteller at heart. He recently debuted in his first movie role in ‘Confinement’ by Kelvin Tong, where he plays ‘Wei Jie’ in the film and is screening in cinemas presently.

He started off his career by playing Adam in NTUC Income’s viral advertisement The Best Gift For Your Child which was critically acclaimed and has garnered over 18 million views on Facebook & Youtube.

Since then, he has acted for roles in award-winning dramas such as Andy in Mindjumper and Neoh in This Land Is Mine and on Paramount Network Asia’s Minimocks. He appeared as a supporting role in both Channel 5’s KIN and Sunny Side Up.

He’s also the first male actor in ViddSee’s Actor Spotlight. He played multiple lead and supporting roles in their short films and series such as Lucas in 1000 Cups To Midnight, Ming’s Dad in Final Exam, and Fred in The Importance Of Using Protection, to name a few.

Keith has also starred in commercials and brand campaigns for well-known brands such as Pizza Hut, Scoot, Lazada, Health Promotion Board, National Council Of Problem Gambling , GIANT, CalmCollective Asia, and Marina Bay Sands.

For theatre, Keith has performed in local forum theatre and site specific performances with Drama Box & Cake Theatre, M1 Singapore Fringe Festival and a Chekhov triple bill by Ravindran Drama Group. He has toured ‘Web Of Deceit’ by Paper Monkey Theatre to countries like Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand.

He also teaches drama for secondary school drama clubs.

When he’s not acting it out, he loves trying new food at cafes, engaging deeply with his friends over a meal, or playing board games.

 

Keith began his theatre training in Nanyang Academy Of Fine Arts with Diploma in Theatre in 2011 and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Theatre Arts in 2018. His foundation is in Stanislavski but has also learned techniques from Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekhov, Jacques Lecoq and Stella Adler. His voice training is primarily grounded in Cicely Berry’s work & and has learnt General American, British & Australian accents from Paul Meier’s resources.

Keith also has movement training from a variety of dance styles such as jazz, tap, flamenco, contemporary, ballet, Bharatanatyam, hip hop, Chinese dance, Suzuki Method Of Actor Training (SMAT) & Viewpoints. He is trained in various puppetry styles like 3 metal rod puppet, finger and Wayang Kulit.

He has continued to keep his acting muscles sharp by attending acting masterclasses by award-winning trainers like Oliver Chong and Chong Tze Chien from The Finger Players and also, Frantic Assembly.
